Returning to the Trading Post

The following blog post was written on the evening of the 13th July. Due to technological restrictions it was posted at a later date. Pictures will be posted even later...sorry!

After leaving Bloemfontein it was a short two hour drive back to Lesotho. At the border we filled out forms, showed our passports, and smiled at the guards like border-crossing experts.

As we turned down the road towards the Trading Post a large contingency of small children started running after the van yelling our names. We were welcomed back to Roma in style.

After dropping my bags off in my room, I spent the next few hours playing soccer with the children with some of the other Fulbrighters. In fact, I spent a considerable amount of time throwing the ball at children’s heads and encouraging them to keep their eyes open.

In case you were wondering what the Trading Post was like, I have attached some pictures to give you a better image.
