Soccer

The following blog post was written on the evening of 3 July 2008. Due to technological restrictions it was posted at a later date.

This evening I was asked to play soccer with the kids outside the Trading Post gate…although they were a little disappointed I didn’t have a ball (and the ball their shared did look well loved). They played with small goals and not goalies…it was Manchester versus Chelsea. I am not really sure what team I played on or who was on my team, but it was very fun.

I felt the “thinness” of the air pretty early and felt like a big wuss, but I am still glad I played.

Talked to the kids for a long time after, they were really sweet and all wanted their pictures taken. I hope to see more of them tomorrow.
