The following blog post was written on the afternoon of the 1st of August
I know I won’t get to post this message today, since I am in the middle of a national park in South Africa and internet is so far from being available that it is slightly laughable, but I want to be able to wish my little sister the happiest of birthdays. Today, August 1st, she is turning the 2-7. I had a chance to call her this morning at 8:59am, which was 11:59pm California time, and welcome her into a new year of her life.
